Rare Vintage Brass Candlebra 24ct Gold

Having spotted these in Tel Aviv, I scoured the internet for more information on this remarkable pair and their distinctive Star of David design and discovered that the manufacturer is an established company in Israel known for producing traditional religious collector's items. 

The shape they make when mirroring eachother can be changed according to taste, and creates a rather fetching geometric pattern when you have a play with their position. 

Solid brass, with 24carat gold plated cups to hold the candlesticks, the arms are finished in a turquoise painted enamel and sit on weighty brass plinths.

The natural patina that has developed over the years is quite attractive, yet with some polish this could be a shiny new jewel in the family crown.
