One of those unexpected discoveries in Bucharest, Romania!
I searched through piles of these to find a pattern I felt most drawn to, and think I may have been a little cross-eyed by the end. It was worth being able to bring this piece home, and admire the pretty detailing and unusual mix of colours.
A different sort of fruit bowl or platter for serving bread, this lovely piece would be a tasteful addition to a neutrally styled room in a colour palette of creams, browns and blacks.
